Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Pennsylvania is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges in home and community settings. You will support daily living, transportation, and community activities, while documenting services and ensuring safety and dignity.

For Deaf Services programs, fluency in American Sign Language is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must complete pre-employment screening.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in identifying and communicating needs for services.
• Educate on wellness practices and support healthy lifestyles.
• Foster self-advocacy and personal decision-making.
• Accompany individuals to community activities and appointments.
• Assist with daily living skills and household tasks.
• Provide safe transportation to engagements.
• Document services to ensure accurate records.
• Respect confidentiality and advocate for individuals.
