Orandi Allergy and Asthma Center in Wyoming, Michigan, is hiring a Medical Assistant to join a small, fast-paced, collaborative team. Work location is in person at 2221 Health Drive, Suite 1400.

Responsibilities include patient intake, injections, rooming, allergy testing, pulmonary function tests, refills, and EMR documentation. Requirements include Active CMA through AAMA or RMA through AMT at hire, Epic EHR experience (1 year).

Formación

• Active CMA certification through AAMA or RMA certification through AMT is required on hire.
• Epic EHR software experience with at least 1 year.

Responsabilidades

• Administer injections
• Room patients
• Allergy testing
• Perform pulmonary function tests
• Process refills
• Respond to patient questions
• Process incoming fax messages
• Send appointment reminder texts
• Send prescriptions
• Scan documentation into patient chart
• Prior authorizations
• Create encounters in EPIC EMR
• Contact referrals
• Other duties as needed
