McEwen Dental in Sacramento seeks a qualified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support exams and procedures in a fast-paced office. You will welcome patients, assist the dentist, and help maintain a clean, compliant clinical environment.

Ideal candidates hold an RDA license, a CODA-accredited associate degree, CPR certification, and at least two years' experience, with strong communication and computer skills to manage records and patient care.

Formación

• State-licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
• Two years of dental assistant experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients to the treatment area and ensure their comfort.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and record medical history accurately.
• Prep sterilized equipment and provide it to the dentist.
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures; adhere to health policies.
• Communicate with back- and front-office staff; perform other duties as needed.

Summary

We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Assistantto join our team! As a DA or RDA, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance in a busy and fast-paced office, assisting during exams and procedures and ensure various other tasks are completed throughout the day. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and has at least two years of experience. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have related to the procedures
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
• Assist dentist during procedures and examsAdhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
• Communicate with back and front of office staff
• Other duties as noted

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure
• Previous experience as a dental assistant
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care
