Qualifications

• Must hold a current Dental Assistant license.
• Must hold Radiology, CPR, and OSHA certifications.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization procedures.
• Infection control and workplace safety knowledge.
• Strong computer and patient-recordkeeping skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Experience with Dentrix is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Set up instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry.

• Perform duties within licensure scope.
• Complete laboratory tasks as directed.
• Provide oral-hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain treatment rooms cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
