Job summary

Riot Platforms Inc. in Calvert City, Kentucky is seeking an ASIC Technician for our onsite operations. You will install, deploy, diagnose, repair, and upgrade ASIC miners and related hardware, supporting the data center operations with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

You will troubleshoot complex miner issues and document equipment changes and maintenance. The role requires hands-on hardware experience, comfort with high-pace environments, and the ability to work with

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and OEM guides.
• Must be able to perform on-site diagnostics and maintenance.
• Willingness to work onsite in a mining/data center environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, maintaining, and deploying ASIC miners.
• Install networked peripheral devices and networking hardware for ASIC miners.
• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of ASIC miner issues; implement hardware solutions.
• Conduct troubleshooting for R&D efforts on ASIC miners.
• Perform routine upkeep tasks and preventative maintenance for ASIC miners.
• Maintain accurate inventory of miners, hash boards, control boards, and switches; document repairs and installations.
• Provide training and support to staff on ASIC operation and issues.
• Assist in developing long-term hardware strategies and capacity planning.
