Job summary

NWU is seeking a motivated student intern in Sunnyvale, CA, to support senior engineers on technical projects. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and hands-on practice with Verilog and SystemVerilog, plus Python/Java/C++.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Coursework in Digital Logic Design and Computer Architecture.
• Demonstrated project experience from concept to implementation.
• Familiarity with Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog; and basic programming/scripting knowledge in Python/Java/C++.

• Assist with maintaining and updating hardware, software, and other technical systems.

• Complete tasks assigned by a supervisor in a timely and efficient manner.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Coursework in Digital Logic Design and Computer Architecture.
• Demonstrated experience of taking a project from concept to implementation.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Verilog, VHDL, or System Verilog, or technical tools relevant to the role.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., Verilog, System Verilog, Python, Java, C++).
• Strong interest in high-tech and a passion for learning.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly salary range of USD 35.00 - 41.00 in California, USA.
