Job summary

Boeing is seeking ASIC/FPGA Digital Design Engineers (Associate or Experienced) to join the Electronics Products team in El Segundo or Huntington Beach, CA. The role involves HDL/RTL design, verification collaboration, and timing analysis across NASA/military and commercial aerospace programs.

Onsite work is required. Candidates should have a BS in engineering and 2+ years in FPGA/ASIC/SoC design, plus HDL experience. A U.S. security clearance is required for employment consideration.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required to obtain security clearance.
• BS in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical), CS, Math, Physics, or related field.
• 2+ years FPGA, ASIC, or SoC digital design experience; or BS + MS.
• HDL development, simulation, debug, and synthesis experience.
• Strong digital design fundamentals (logic, architecture, VLSI).
• Experience troubleshooting digital systems (RTL debug).

Responsibilities

• Support ASIC, FPGA, or mixed ASIC/FPGA developments depending on assignment.
• Develop HDL/RTL for ASIC, FPGA, and SoC systems.
• Compile, simulate, debug, and troubleshoot digital designs.
• Perform and/or support synthesis, implementation, constraints development, timing closure.
• Collaborate with verification teams to support simulation, debug, coverage, and integration goals.
• Communicate technical status, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs proactively.
