ASIC & FPGA Design Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL

Job ID: #69823

Pay Range: $75-87/hr
12 months

1. Seeking an experienced FPGA design and verification engineer. Candidate must have both design and verification experience, including hardware integration.
2. This is a backfill position to take over existing tasks from another FPGA engineer, requiring the ability to learn and support existing designs quickly.
3. Develop, design, verify, and document FPGA development projects.
4. Determine architecture design, logic design, and perform system simulation.
5. Analyze all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power utilization.
6. Use specialized equipment to establish operational data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
7. Support circuit card designers with trade studies.
8. Develop and release design requirement specifications for products.
9. Support debugging and troubleshooting FPGA-related issues in a production environment, which is a critical component of this role.

Required Experience:

1. Strong understanding and experience in FPGA design and verification.
2. Familiarity with UVM and SystemVerilog.
3. Experience integrating FPGA solutions on hardware and validating designs, including simulation validation.

Active Secret Clearance is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance.
