NVIDIA is seeking an ASIC Design Engineer in Austin, TX to advance hardware design and verification. You will develop in-house tools, verify blocks, and act as a DevOps engineer for automated RTL generation across NVIDIA's IP ecosystem.

Required: degree in EE or CE, 3+ years of experience, strong Verilog, Python/Perl, Unix/Linux, and Makefiles; ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams. NVIDIA offers equity, benefits, and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of proven experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of fundamental digital design concepts with hands-on experience in Verilog.
• Proficiency in scripting using modern Python and/or Perl.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and Makefiles.

• Take ownership of tools that verify common design blocks used in all products at NVIDIA.

Compensation and Benefits

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

The base salary range is 116,000 USD - 189,750 USD for Level 2, and 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 3.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
