Job description

NVIDIA is looking for an ASIC Design Engineer to join our Memory Subsystem Team!

As an ASIC Design engineer at NVIDIA, you'll join a group of dedicated engineers to design and implement innovative coherent fabrics, ordering controllers, and accelerators for our Tegra SoCs. In this position, you'll make a significant impact in a dynamic, technology-driven company. Your work will influence product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and artificial intelligence. We have assembled a team of outstanding professionals worldwide, whose mission is to push the boundaries of current technology and define future computing platforms.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Collaborate with architects, software engineers, and circuit designers as part of our Memory Subsystem Design team to deliver world-class solutions. This includes working on NVIDIA SOC Interconnects, ordering controllers, and accelerators, which are among the industry's most sophisticated due to their complex area, latency, power, bandwidth, and quality-of-service requirements.

  2. Take responsibility for micro-architecture and design, including RTL design, synthesis, functional verification, and timing analysis using innovative CAD tools and the latest process technologies.

What we need to see:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Advanced degrees (MS, PhD) are a plus.

  2. Relevant experience in high-speed coherent interconnects, protocol bridges, hardware-managed coherency, and system-level caches.

  3. Experience with multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces is advantageous.

  4. Knowledge of industry specifications such as CHI, AXI, CXL, PCIe is beneficial.

  5. Understanding of DRAM controllers is a plus.

  6. Strong working knowledge of Verilog or VHDL.

  7. Familiarity with board and system-level issues.

  8. Programming skills in C and/or PERL.

  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

NVIDIA is recognized as one of the most desirable employers in the technology industry. We employ some of the most innovative and hardworking individuals worldwide. If you are creative, autonomous, and passionate about developing high-performance, low-power silicon, we want to hear from you. Join our Memory Subsystem Design Team and contribute to building real-time, cost-effective computing platforms that drive our success in this exciting and rapidly growing field.

The base salary range is $108,000 - $212,750 USD. Your salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the compensation of similar roles within the company.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
