• Greets guests with a sincere & friendly welcome, escorts them to tables, introduces servers, and provides menus.
• Delivers ACES Guest Service during each interaction.
• Supports and promotes superior customer service according to company standards.
• Delivers high-quality food & service to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits.
• Exhibits behaviors aligned with Property and Departmental Service Guarantees and Core Values.
• Maintains professional grooming and appearance, acting as a role model.
• Adheres to HCCTR and all Food and Beverage policies.
• Schedules reservations and arranges parties or special services.
• Communicates guest comments and concerns to management.
• Coordinates dining room activities for prompt, courteous service.
• Inspects dining areas for cleanliness and supplies.
• Assists with table clearing and resetting.
• Maintains guest information in Yelp or QSR systems.
• Verifies sales and manages cash register at shift end.
• Completes tasks assigned by managers or supervisors.
• Maintains valid WV racing license, Food Handlers permit, and TIPS certifications.

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma, GED, or current enrollment, or experience in lieu of education.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate effectively in various formats.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions, and solve problems.
• Qualify for licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission.
• Obtain proper Food Handler Certification and TIPS certification (provided during orientation).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, handle objects, communicate, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Work environment may include wet/humid conditions, smoke, and loud noise levels.
