Job summary

Fike is seeking an experienced Explosion Safety Consultant to join our consultancy team, supporting customers across the Asia Pacific region. You will combine engineering expertise, site investigations and customer collaboration to identify explosion hazards, assess risks and recommend practical safety solutions.

You will conduct DHA, ATEX risk assessments and Hazardous Area Classifications, advise on compliance with ATEX, NFPA, EN/ISO and other standards, and prepare technical reports for

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in explosion safety or process safety engineering.
Experience conducting explosion safety studies (HAZOP or similar).
Knowledge of ATEX, NFPA, EN/ISO, FM or VDI standards.
Fluency in English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct DHA, ATEX risk assessments and Hazardous Area Classifications, and HAZOP-like studies.
Assess explosion risks and recommend prevention and protection solutions.
Advise on compliance with ATEX, NFPA, EN/ISO and other standards.
Prepare technical reports and present findings to customers.
Support business development by providing technical expertise during the sales process.
Deliver technical training and represent Fike at meetings and events.
