Raymond James seeks an equities trader to cover Asia during local sessions, delivering electronic executions and top-tier client service. The role oversees OMS/EMS, FIX connectivity, and risk controls while coordinating with portfolio trading and operations.

A strong background in Asia markets and 3–6 years of experience is required. Based in the US with overnight coverage, the position offers remote flexibility and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/accounting or related field.
• Strong OMS/EMS navigation skills; comfort working in multiple systems in fast markets.
• Knowledge of FIX message flow/sessions and routing issues is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage electronic and high-touch execution for Asia equity flows; maintain market awareness and risk controls.
• Monitor overnight orders and positions; provide timely updates and handoffs to US day teams.
• Troubleshoot order lifecycle issues across OMS/EMS, FIX, algos/routers, and venue gateways; escalate and document root cause.
• Develop portable buy-side relationships for Asia equities; monetize through execution.
• Support portfolio trading: coordinate lists, monitor completion, manage allocations, and resolve post-trade exceptions.
