Job description

Join to apply for the Aseptic Technician III role at Zoetis.

This 1st shift Aseptic Technician III position is responsible for executing department-specific tasks in accordance with all applicable cGMPs and compliant with corporate/site procedures, regulations, and policies. TCO works with Primary Chicken Embryo Fibroblast cells and may lead department activities in the absence of the Team Leader.

Working Hours:
  • Tuesday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Responsibilities include:
  • Producing CEF cells from eggs in a clean room using aseptic techniques and procedures.
  • Infecting roller bottles in a clean room setting to prepare for vaccine batch and fill.
  • Executing, leading, and troubleshooting aseptic techniques and clean room procedures with high GMP standards.
  • Reviewing, maintaining, and editing departmental cGMP documentation.
  • Operating and overseeing equipment setup and takedown.
  • Assisting in daily production scheduling.
  • Collaborating effectively across departments and maintaining safety standards.
Additional duties:
  • Performing environmental monitoring, cleaning, and staging of clean rooms.
  • Documenting production activities accurately.
  • Maintaining aseptic processing skills in a team environment.
  • Providing leadership during shift changes and schedule adjustments.
  • Mentoring and providing growth opportunities for team members.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in sciences preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing or as an Aseptic Technician beneficial.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong math, science, and computer skills preferred.
  • Teamwork, collaboration, leadership, and decision-making skills beneficial.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work in varying temperatures for long periods.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift 5-25 lbs and perform bending, reaching, and twisting.
