Job summary

Zoetis is seeking an Aseptic Technician in Lincoln, NE to assemble viral and bacterial antigens into final serials. Hours are 4:30am - 1:00pm with potential overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities include maintaining aseptic technique, following GMP, documenting processes, and training in assembly functions. Requires high school diploma; biology coursework preferred and experience in aseptic manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years post-secondary education with biological coursework desirable.
• Preference given to applicants with relevant experience in biological production and/or aseptic manufacturing.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, computer skills, and working knowledge of the metric system.

Responsibilities

• Assemble viral and bacterial antigens into final serials.
• Apply aseptic technique and maintain product quality.
• Follow GMP-compliant documentation and complete process records.
• Maintain inventories of bulk fluids and components.
• Perform environmental monitoring and upkeep of equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies for biological and chemical components.
• Assist in SOP preparation and validation of procedures.
• Cross-train in all Assembly department functions and perform other duties as assigned.
