Location: Ridgefield, NJ

Shift: Mon-Fri 5am-1:30pm (flexibility required for earlier/overtime/weekends/holidays based on business needs)

The Aseptic Technician Associate will perform tasks related to aseptic manufacturing, including collection and extraction of hyaluronic acid (HA), HA gel manufacturing, buffer and saline production, intermediate bulk manufacturing, filling, inspection, and packaging of medical device and pharmaceutical products. Responsibilities also include cleaning and sanitization of facilities and equipment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform aseptic gown qualification and maintain it; participate in media simulation as per regulatory requirements.
  • Handle production tasks related to aseptic bulk manufacturing and filling.
  • Maintain batch records and logs; clean and sanitize equipment and spaces; assist in validation activities; perform sampling and environmental monitoring.
  • Witness routine operational tasks and document accordingly.
  • Apply skills and follow established procedures; demonstrate initiative in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, mostly standing; flexible schedule including weekends and extended hours as needed.
  • Perform routine tasks in formulation, filling, and packaging; transfer of heavy vessels and autoclaves may be required.

HSE

  • Promote safety and compliance with HSE policies and regulations.
  • Complete necessary trainings; report incidents; support investigations; close HSE actions timely.

Skills & About You

  • Perform daily cleaning and maintain documentation with attention to detail.
  • Ensure GMP and SOP compliance; work with minimal supervision; troubleshoot issues; basic computer skills preferred.

Job Requirements

  • Work in aseptic gowning for about 80% of shift; capable of lifting and moving equipment; stand for long periods; bend, squat, reach, and sanitize equipment.
  • Complete tasks in a cGMP environment; work independently or in teams; enter confined spaces occasionally.

Basic Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 2+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing in a GMP environment; knowledge of CGMP/regulatory compliance.
