Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the aseptic unit at the Aintree site. You will contribute to the production and distribution of sterile parental products for standard care and research settings, and assist with aseptically prepared investigational medicines for upcoming studies.

You will design trial worksheets and labels, maintain drug accountability and temperature monitoring, and engage with external trial monitors.

Qualifications

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician with GPhC registration and aseptics experience.
• NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent required.
• Desirable: membership of GPhC/Science Council or equivalent, APDM attendance.

Responsibilities

• Based in aseptic unit at Aintree site and assist production and distribution of sterile parental products.
• Assist set up and management of trials requiring aseptic preparation and trial drug maintenance.
• Design worksheets, labels and trial documents for aseptic dispensing.
• Meet external trial representatives and support monitoring visits.
