Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an individual to join the Pharmacy-based Aseptic Services team. The post holder will support the aseptic production unit and ensure GMP-compliant daily operations, including Parenteral Nutrition and chemotherapy services.

Role involves environmental procedures, documentation, and adherence to SOPs. Applicants should have NHS/healthcare experience, GCSEs, and Level 2 NVQ qualifications; DBS requirements apply.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience of stock rotation.
  • Experience of working in stores and distribution.
  • Enthusiasm for the position.
  • GCSE grade C/4 or above (Maths and English) or equivalent.
  • Level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Skills or Level 2 Science Manufacturing Technician, good written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support aseptic production services including Parenteral Nutrition, chemotherapy and IV Additive Service.
  • Perform environmental duties: daily readings, weekly settle plates and swabs, cleaning.
  • Ensure documentation is completed and stored; follow GMP and SOPs.
