Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. in Tempe, AZ, is seeking an Aseptic Process Engineering lead to oversee process engineering standards across North America manufacturing network, focusing on Aseptic/UHT, dairy tech, and packaging systems.

You will lead technicians, design piping, maintain P&ID drawings, support startup, and guide OEMs to meet project specs. The role requires hands-on start-ups, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in sterile production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in process/manufacturing engineering; supervisory experience preferred.
• Aseptic/Dairy processing experience required, including UHT, separators, and pumps.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to technicians.
• Subject matter expert in UHT/aseptic processing and equipment reliability.
• Design piping systems for utilities, process lines, CIP/SIP, ensuring efficiency.
• Create, manage, and maintain P&ID drawings and plant layouts.
• Assist in selecting pumps, valves, and process equipment.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and start-up support.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for installation and commissioning.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate to improve line efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Source critical equipment components with quality documentation.
• Support preventive maintenance and spare parts planning.
• Provide technical input during client meetings and project discussions.
