Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Process Engineer in an aseptic food manufacturing environment to lead process design, validation, and continuous improvement across pilot and full-scale production lines.

Responsibilities include creating PFDs/P&IDs, documenting projects, and ensuring GMP/FSMA compliance while driving cost reductions and capital improvements. The role offers a clear growth path and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in food processing/manufacturing.
• Experience scaling from pilot to commercial production.
• Strong aseptic processing and sanitary design knowledge.
• Experience creating PFDs and P&IDs using CAD.
• Experience with PLC and HMI automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design, validation, and improvement initiatives in an aseptic manufacturing environment.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs for pilot and commercial lines.
• Create and manage technical documentation, project plans, and schedules.
• Ensure GMP and FSMA compliance and maintain SOPs and batch documentation.
• Lead equipment qualification and validation programs (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Define operating parameters and evaluate manufacturing capability for new/existing products.
• Support scale-up from pilot plant to commercial production and assist with training.
