Job summary

Unither Manufacturing LLC. in Rochester, NY, is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Operator to set up, clean, operate and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.

The role requires adherence to cGMP and SOPs, documentation discipline and participation in quality teams. Candidate should have 2+ years in pharma production, aseptic/clean room experience preferred, and be capable of working with automated systems and EQ maintenance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical production experience.
• AAS or BS desirable.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Operates multiple pieces of equipment with competence.
• Aseptic and clean room experience preferred.
• Working under aseptic conditions while fully gowned desirable.
• Experience in compounding and/or batch processing preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities preferred.
• General understanding of material handling machinery advantageous.
• Knowledge of computer applications and current software.
• Basic mechanical and manufacturing processes knowledge and aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Room & Process Ready for Production Run: prepare by reviewing schedule, SOPs and changes.
• Ensure supplies, materials and documents are available to meet schedule.
• Operate production equipment and monitor critical parameters.
• Document production through forms, logs and records.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot, and raise repair orders; suggest improvements.
• Prepare equipment for next run and perform cleaning; ensure GMP compliance.
• Record paperwork accurately and complete by shift end.
• Follow HSSE rules and site security requirements.
