Job Title: Aseptic Parts Room Attendant

Location: Ridgefield, NJ

Summary

Responsible for managing the aseptic filling format parts area. Tasks include receiving, inspecting, and inventorying format parts for syringe and vial filling operations. Work closely with maintenance and reliability engineers to ensure parts are in good condition and replaced as needed to ensure reliable operation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage all activities related to the format parts room.
  • Fully inventory and inspect parts, documenting condition and history.
  • Organize and store parts for easy access.
  • Use hand or bench tools safely to repair parts.
  • Inspect incoming parts for damage, document, and address issues.
  • Maintain documentation of parts' usage and history.
  • Ensure parts are clean and debris-free.
  • Follow SOPs to ensure GMP compliance.
  • Coordinate with production to ensure parts are ready and available.
  • Report damages and issues promptly to maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service to production and maintenance teams.
  • Contribute to deviation investigations related to fill parts.
  • Support production activities, including working flexible hours, OT, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Perform GEMBA activities to troubleshoot parts functionality.
  • Gown into classified clean room space if required.
HSE
  • Work mainly performed while standing.
  • Complete all required HSE trainings.
  • Report accidents and incidents, support investigations, and close HSE actions timely.
About You
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering or mechanical fields
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Experience in a regulated industry with cGMP
  • Good documentation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience machining parts is a plus
