Job summary

Abbott in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an Operator II to support the Nutrition production line at the Columbus Plant. You will work on filler, seamer and related equipment, coordinating shift events and ensuring quality and safety across the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 24 months job experience within the plant.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting skills and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of product level and ensure proper parameters for the filler, seamer and can washer.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain downtime reports.
• Ensure proper FP tank hookup and that weights are within range.
• Coordinate pre/post shift meetings and run reports as needed.
