Job summary

August Bioservices in Nashville, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the new aseptic formulation and filling facility. You will manage equipment prep, filling, packaging, and ensure production schedules align with site goals.

This role reports to the Manager of Manufacturing Operations and requires 4+ years of cGMP manufacturing, a BS in pharma or equivalent, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience with supervisory duties.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent pharma manufacturing experience.
• Must qualify in Aseptic Grade A/B gowning.
• Experience operating aseptic equipment and HMI controls.
• Strong problem solving, data synthesis, and deviation investigations.
• Able to work flexible hours and communicate effectively.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Excellent MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for production activities spanning equipment preparation, formulation, filling, packaging and related processes.
• Oversee manufacturing schedule and development of team and KPIs.
• Provide training, coaching, mentoring and discipline to team members.
• Set goals for team to align with site and company objectives.
• Lead deviation assessments and implement CAPAs.
• Drive change controls for process improvement and CAPAs.
• Develop on‑the‑job training plans for the manufacturing team.
• Ensure personnel are qualified with cGMP requirements and procedures.
• Maintain cleanroom environments to cGMP requirements.
• Develop department goals and budget aligned with site goals.
• Develop cross‑functional knowledge to support operations as needed.
