Job summary

Grifols is hiring an Aseptic Filling Technician I/II for the 3rd shift in Clayton, NC. This entry-level role supports GMP manufacturing, performing cleaning, equipment set-up, and basic process control under supervision.

You will work with SCADA/Andover systems, maintain records, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. High School Diploma with Bioworks certification preferred; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a good math and mechanical aptitude.
• Production work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is desired.
• Must be able to function in an aseptic environment while maintaining the sterility of the product.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; continuous standing, walking and some bending is required.
• Bioworks Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for equipment setup and operation in a biologics processing environment for plasma derived pharmaceuticals.
• Gowning qualified for facility cleaning of fill suites and compliant with safety rules.
• Operate support fill equipment such as the glass inspection stations, rinser/tunnel, VAM and over sealer; load carts with vials or syringes.
• Perform SIP/PBC Operations and filter integrity testing; maintain logs and perform documentation.
• Prepare chemical solutions for production use; strict adherence to Dept. Safety Rules.
• Perform material handling and glass inspection activities; ensure clean production area.
• Real time documentation during production run and maintain accurate records/logs.
• Monitor and operate computer control systems for production activities (SCADA/Andover).
