Job summary

Priority Hyundai is seeking a Service Technician- Class A to perform vehicle repairs, diagnose issues, and complete service tasks per repair orders. The role requires ASE certifications, a valid driver’s license, and SMOG certification where applicable.

You will road-test vehicles, document test results, and maintain tools and work areas in a safe, efficient manner. Flat-rate pay is $45.00 per hour, with a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Manufacturer certification in all listed ASE areas.
• Minimum of 6 ASE certifications (ASE Master Technician)
• Smog license or state emissions certification as applicable
• Customer Pay Proficiency Level: >115%
• Five plus years' experience preferred
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an organized toolbox and general shop cleanliness.
• Ensure customers' vehicles are returned clean and ready.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications as required.
