Group 1 Honda Kingwood is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our high-volume Honda dealership. The ideal candidate brings multi-brand repair experience and strong diagnostic skills to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an automotive technician working across multiple brands required.
• ASE Master Certification highly preferred.
• Additional ASE or manufacturer certifications a huge plus.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Own tools and tool proficiency.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and test automotive systems across multiple makes and models.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians as needed.
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
