Job summary

Jeff Wyler Eastgate KIA in Batavia, OH is seeking an ASE Certified Technician or skilled technician to join our busy service team. You will diagnose and repair Kia and other vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and document all work.

You will utilize diagnostic tools and stay current with Kia training, mentoring junior technicians as needed. We offer a climate-controlled shop, steady workload, ASE training support, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred or required.
• Kia certification preferred; experience with Kia vehicles is a plus.
• Experience as a technician with strong diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic data analysis and comprehensive inspections.
• Repair and maintain Kia and other vehicles per manufacturer specs.
• Conduct routine maintenance: oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, alignments.
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
• Explain repairs to advisors/customers clearly.
• Collaborate with service team to complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts, and labor.
• Stay up-to-date with Kia training and certifications.
