Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a skilled technician in Texas to perform comprehensive inspections and preventative maintenance on commercial vehicles. • Clear communication with management and drivers; precise documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical systems, safety features, and vehicle condition to ensure roadworthiness.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform timely repairs and replacements on tires, brakes, bearings, fuel, hydraulics, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance: oil changes, filter replacements, fluids, lubrication.
• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure functionality and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate service logs, repair records, and inspection documents; coordinate warranty work with manufacturers.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace with strict safety protocols and proper handling of tools and hazardous materials.
