LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Certified Service Technician in Michigan. The role offers a tiered pay plan, longevity bonus program, on-the-job training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Technicians, Trainees, and Apprentices are encouraged to apply for positions across multiple Michigan locations. The technician will perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, coordinate with Parts, and ensure quality workmanship while supporting safety

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Meet production and quality standards and follow shop procedures.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and process them for the stall area.
• Perform repair work per repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
• Coordinate with Parts to obtain needed parts and manage warranties.
• Document work performed and road-test to verify customer concerns are addressed.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping policies and follow regulations.
