Job summary

Holman Enterprises is seeking an A-Tech for Autopark Honda in Cary, NC. The technician will perform test drives, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs in line with dealership standards, while ensuring safety and compliance. Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and diagnostic tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle/engine repair.
• ASE certification or OEM certification preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform test drives, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles.
• Identify mechanical problems visually and/or with computer diagnostic equipment.
• Examine critical parts and systems using standard checklists and manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly and in compliance with state regulations.
• Follow strategy-based diagnosis protocol to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.
• Recommends needed repairs or maintenance on customer or company cars.
• Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems according to dealership standards.
• Completes preventative maintenance on vehicles (oil changes, fluids, tire rotation, brakes).
• Performs repairs following manufacturer procedures and safety guidelines.
• Conducts post-repair testing and diagnostics to confirm proper operation.
