Job summary

Goodyear is hiring an Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems at multiple U.S. auto service centers. The role emphasizes strong diagnostic skills, safe work practices, and the ability to adapt to evolving automotive technologies.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in automotive repair or military vehicle maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. ASE A4/A5 credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' automotive repair experience or three years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, A/C, and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot problems using diagnostic tools and knowledge of modern automotive technology.
• Mentor teammates and continuously learn new techniques as technology evolves.
• Maintain safety, service, and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
