Job summary

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid Maine Vehicle Inspection license.
• Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
• Possess a valid driver's license and a favorable motor vehicle record.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicles to dealership standards.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and repairs to service advisors and customers in non-technical terms.
• Inspect and test vehicles, recording findings to identify necessary repairs.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
