Cogent Talent Solutions is seeking an ASE Automotive Technician for a trusted automotive service provider in Northern Kentucky. You will diagnose vehicle systems, follow manufacturer specs, and communicate repairs to the service desk and shop manager.

The role requires a post-secondary automotive program, high school diploma or GED, ASE/SAE certification preferred, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 and includes training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary training in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus.
• ASE or SAE certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose malfunction codes in vehicle using diagnostic tools.
• Establish service protocols for tracking repair status and manuals.
• Use checklist to examine engine, A/C, transmission, brakes, and other systems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as fluid checks, tire rotations, brakes, oil changes.
• Follow manufacturer specs for repairs to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Explain repairing needs to Customer Service Advisor and Shop Manager.
• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with policies.
