Our client in Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area is seeking an ASE Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The role involves following manufacturer specifications, conducting thorough inspections, and communicating clearly with the team. Compensation ranges between $65,000 and $80,000 annually with benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completed post-secondary automotive service technology training; associate degree is a plus.
• ASE/SAE certification is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are needed.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle with codes using diagnostic tools and expertise.
• Establish service tracking protocols and maintain repair manuals.
• Perform thorough inspections of engine, A/C, transmission, brakes.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as fluid checks, tire rotations, oil changes.
• Follow manufacturer specs to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Explain issues and repairs clearly to Customer Service Advisor and Shop Manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with company policies.

As our client continues to grow, we’re seeking a skilled and motivated ASE Automotive Technician to help deliver an exceptional experience for every customer and support the ongoing success of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools
• Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, and using charts.
• Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems
• Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes
• Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business
• Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both the Customer Service Advisor and the Shop Manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment, maintain company policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus
• Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
• Strong customer service and communications skills are needed
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for this position.
