Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center in Spring Lake Park, MN is hiring experienced Automotive Technicians. ASE certified applicants or those with strong hands-on shop experience are encouraged to apply, as you will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with a focus on safety and reliability.

We offer 30+ guaranteed hours weekly with flag-rate pay ranging from $20.00 to $45.00 per hour, plus a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, Rx) and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, vehicle inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general automotive maintenance.
• Technicians perform Missouri state inspections or obtain certification to do so.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine repair issues.
• Team members maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Technicians work collaboratively with the team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely.
• They provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations to customers.
