Ed Morse Chevrolet GMC North is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Missouri. You will diagnose, repair, and service a variety of vehicle systems, providing accurate estimates and clear explanations to customers and service advisors.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and staying current with evolving automotive technology. Qualifications include ASE certification and at least three years of hands-on experience, with access to modern shop equipment.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• ASE Certified.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to dealership standards.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to service advisors and customers in non-technical terms.
• Repair engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and AC systems as specified.
• Inspect and test vehicles and record findings for necessary repairs.
