Job summary

CarMax, the nation’s largest retailer of used cars, is seeking a Mechanical Associate at our West Point, VA facility. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards.

You’ll work with a skilled team, gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles, and follow EH&S guidelines in a climate-controlled environment designed for efficiency. CarMax emphasizes growth and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
