Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of mechanical hands-on experience or ASE Certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with limited moving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Follow and complete checklists to ensure thorough vehicle inspections and document safety issues and repair items.
• Review checklists after check-in to evaluate cost-effective repairs.
• Identify mechanical and electrical problems using manual and computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs (spark plugs, worn parts, brake pads, fluids, oil changes, tires) and test drive before/after repairs.
• Collaborate with the Buyer to identify external repairs and manage delivery with outside shops.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, invoices, and inspection reports daily.
• Manage inventory of shop supplies to ensure availability for repairs.
