Job summary

San Juan Unified School District seeks an Instructional Assistant III to support Moderate/Severe ASD class needs at Carriage Drive School. This 9-month, part-time position runs 6.5 hours daily, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM.

The ideal candidate will assist with instruction for students with disabilities, especially those in ED or autism classes, and help implement behavioral and learning supports as directed by a teacher.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with disabilities or special needs is required.
• Candidates should have experience supporting ASD or ED classrooms.
• Proficiency in following program plans and safety protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Instructional Assistant III activities for ASD/ED students.
• Assist teachers with small group and individual instruction and behavior support.
