Job summary

San Juan Unified is seeking an Instructional Assistant III to support a Severe/Emotionally Disturbed (ASD) classroom. The role requires working with students with learning or communication handicaps and may involve supporting groups and individual students within the classroom.

Preference is given to candidates with experience with ED/ASD populations and those who hold or can obtain a California Class C Driver License. This is a part-time, 6.5-hour position with 0.8125 FTE allocation.

Qualifications

• Experience working with severe/emotionally disturbed students.
• Experience with groups of children; working with impaired children or adults desirable.
• Possession of or willingness to obtain a California Class C Driver License may be required for some programs.
