Advanced Behavioral Therapy in Columbus, OH is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat children with ASD, aligning speech goals with ABA plans. The role involves teamwork with Behavior Analysts, parent coaching, and documentation, with in-person sessions at two centers in Powell and Reynoldsburg.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Ohio SLP license (unrestricted).
• Active Ohio Department of Education license, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with toddlers or autism/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA principles is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language assessments for children with ASD.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with the ABA team.
• Provide speech therapy sessions to children, including one-on-one and small group sessions.
• Work closely with Behavior Analysts and other team members to integrate speech and language goals with ABA programs.
• Provide parent and caregiver training to enhance communication strategies at home.
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing input and collaborating to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and behavior analysis.
