Responsibilities

• Transport small numbers of scholars to activities.
• Assist in providing medical and self-care support to scholars.

Effective written and oral communication skills

Ability to work well with others

Ability to provide supervision during field trips

Ability to safely and appropriately restrain scholars

Physical ability to push wheelchairs

Education

Completed a minimum of 60 college credits

Obtained an associate’s or higher degree

Passed an MDE approved ETS Paraprofessional assessment

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
