Job summary

Jeffco Public Schools is seeking a Para Educator for our ASD center at Lasley Elementary School in Jefferson County, CO. The role is an annual, center-based position (FLSA nonexempt) with a 0.875 FTE, 7 hours per day across 178 days per year.

Starting salary is $22.74–$28.38 per hour, with pay steps and career progression based on experience and certifications. Applicants must complete fingerprinting and background checks per district policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students with disabilities in ASD/SSN classes.
• Assist in implementing IEPs and collecting progress data.
• Support teacher with materials, attendance, and classroom activities.
• Administer medications per district policy under supervision.
• Assist with lunch, recess, and bus duties and ensure student safety.
