Job summary

Universal Health Services, through The Hughes Center, seeks a Director of Behavioral Services to lead ABA/behavioral health programs for youth with neurodevelopmental disorders. The role focuses on training care providers, maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, and directing a continuum of care across units to improve functional outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a related field and 5+ years in ASD/neurodevelopmental services, with prior management experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in ABA / Special Education / Clinical Psychology or related Human Services field.
• At least 5 years of experience providing services and leadership to programs serving children and adolescents with ASD or related neurodevelopmental disabilities, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Previous management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, educate, and evaluate patient care providers in ASD/ABA/behavior management.
• Oversee daily programmatic structure of patient care units; ensure patients are engaged in therapeutic groups and daily tasks.
• Design, implement, and direct a science‑driven continuum of care to achieve measurable outcomes and successful reintegration to family/community.
