Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid State Pharmacy Technician license.
• National certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
• Minimum of one year hospital-based pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medications efficiently to nursing units.
• Maintains and stocks unit-based automated dispensing cabinets accurately.
• Performs aseptic compounding of parenteral admixtures.
• Processes floor stock and requisitions for nursing units.
• Handles controlled substances with care.
• Assists pharmacists with order entry and customer service.
• Restocks anesthesia dispensing cabinets and maintains logs.
• Packages bulk medications properly.
