Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Fulltime Cytotechnologist for the Baptist Medical Center laboratory. The role is a day shift, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with relocation assistance available.

The ideal candidate will be licensed in Florida and have CT (ASCP) certification and experience in cytology. You will perform specimen processing, staining and preliminary microscopic evaluation, supporting safety, clerical and quality initiatives in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Experience with specimen collection, processing, staining and microscopy.
• Familiarity with quality improvement and safety initiatives in a clinical lab.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expertise in collection, processing, staining and microscope interpretation of cytologic specimens.
• Perform computer, clerical, safety and quality improvement functions per policy manuals.
• Instruct new Cytotechnologists and Cytopreparatory technicians.
