Job summary

Peachtree Orthopedics in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Revenue Cycle Coder/Biller to support coding, billing, reimbursement and compliance for the ASC revenue cycle. You will review operative reports, assign ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes, capture implant charges, and submit clean claims to payers.

As the ASC transitions coding in-house, you will help establish standardized processes, workflows and quality controls, collaborating with physicians, Revenue Cycle, payers and internal departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of medical billing, coding, and account follow-up experience.
• Experience with ASC, surgical, orthopedic, or facility coding and billing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding systems and modifiers.
• Familiarity with CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim requirements and payer billing.
• Ability to translate operative documentation into accurate codes.

Responsibilities

• Review operative reports and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Submit clean claims to commercial payers, Medicare and other payers.
• Monitor front-end claim rejections and denials to ensure timely submissions.
• Develop and document coding processes as ASC coding moves in-house.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and payer requirements.
