Redefine Healthcare in Matawan, NJ is seeking an Ambulatory Surgery Center Collections Specialist to join our expanding team. The role focuses on follow-up with insurers to secure timely reimbursements and resolve denials within an ASC setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in AR/collections, familiar with ASC CPT codes, and experienced with SIS software. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in accounts receivable or insurance collections within ASC
• Experience with Surgical Information Systems is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of ASC CPT codes and denial management

Responsibilities

• Follow up on outstanding claims with insurance companies to ensure prompt reimbursement
• Research and resolve denied or unpaid claims per payer guidelines and center policies
• Review patient accounts for billing accuracy and proper coding
• Communicate with payers to resolve discrepancies and expedite payments
• Collaborate with billing and coding teams to ensure timely claim submission
• Maintain knowledge of payer policies and industry regulations
