Responsibilities

• Ensures continual delivery of high-quality nursing care.
• Mentors/trains other surgical staff as needed.
• Maintains infection control surveillance and safety.
• Documents patient care services and vital signs.
• Coordinates with healthcare team to assess and plan patient care.
• Prepares rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Maintains HIPAA privacy and confidentiality.
